Minted in 2016 by the Monnaie de Paris for the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, this 34 mm mini-medal is the commemorative token of Saint Bernadette.

Bernadette is the first Saint photographed. The front of this room is illustrated by one of the 75 authentic photographs of the little seer. Here, Bernadette is seated with a rosary in her hands. The inscription Sainte Bernadette Soubirous surrounds this engraving.

On the back, the annotation "Our Lady of Lourdes" encircles the representation of the Crowned Virgin of Lourdes. This figure is the exact reproduction obtained by very high definition digitization, in three dimensions of the original statue located on the esplanade of the Rosary in the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes.
