Lourdes, a place of physical and psychological healing, attracts millions of pilgrims from all over the world every year. Since the first apparitions, miracles have been recorded. And even if of the 7,200 cases of healing declared and recorded by the medical office of the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, only 70 of them have been recognised as "miraculous" by the Church, every month many people testify to experiences of miraculous events.

This book is a collection of these events gathered on the road to Lourdes through twenty or so accounts by North American volunteers of the Hospitalité Notre-Dame de Lourdes. As you read this illustrated book, you too can experience the wonder that pilgrims experience at Lourdes and be reminded of the Glory of God.

Marlene Watkins came to Lourdes in 2001 to be with a friend and to serve a dying person. She made a promise to the Virgin Mary to return the following year accompanied by 10 Catholic ladies. This is how Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitality North American Volunteers was born. Today, this pilgrimage brings together thousands of North Americans and is known throughout the United States. A great organiser, she soon noticed that English-speaking pilgrims were somewhat "lost" in Latin America and so adapted the pilgrimages to American culture.
