Having come to Lourdes as simple pilgrims, humble among the humble, when they were not yet recognized as Saints or Blessed by the Church, all have been marked by the Marian Shrine.

After a long investigation and documentation, Nicolas Dargegen, responsible for the archives and library of the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, gives us the list of these august personalities of the Catholic religion. From the time of the apparitions until the last visit of Saint John Paul II in 2004, about fifty men and women passed through the Grotto where the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous , the young heavyweight who would later become St Bernadette.

The author allows us to discover these Saints in particular through their writings very extensively transcribed in this book.
