From the first apparitions, many followed in Bernadette’s footsteps to arrive on pilgrimage to the Grotto. And from that date on, their numbers continued to grow.

In this second volume, Chantal TOUVET, gives a chronological study of the pilgrimage to Lourdes from the first apparition until the death of Bishop Laurence. Great architect of the first constructions, it was he who pronounced the authenticity of the events.

Based on archival documents, on the books of authors such as Father Cros or Henri Laserre and especially on the help of the colossal work of Father Laurentin, transcribed in the six volumes of the collection "Lourdes, Histoire authentique", the author allows us to discover the History of Lourdes which was built in parallel with the History of France and the Church.
